About

The Granite Mountain Psychological Society

Connecting you with mental health professionals in northern Arizona.

Located in north-central Arizona, approximately 100 miles north of Phoenix, The Granite Mountain Psychological Society:

—Promotes human welfare through professional and public education
—Facilitates professional and social interaction among local mental health professionals
—Serves to advance psychology as a profession and a science

Membership in the Society is open to licensed mental health professionals, educators and researchers in psychology or related fields, as well as others. Please go to our Membership Information page if you would like to learn more about joining.

The Society no longer schedules regular monthly meetings and no longer offers continuing education programs for licensing renewal. When possible we may offer a CE program as a co-sponsor with an entity who is an APA-approved provider of continuing education (e.g. Arizona Psychological Association). Officers and committee chairs will meet periodically as needed to conduct Society business. The Society as a whole will meet periodically to conduct minimal GMPS business but these meetings will primarily be for the purpose of socializing and social networking. Notice of these meetings will be announced via the GMPS listserv.

On our List of Practitioners pages, you will find information that has been provided by Society members who offer professional services to the public. As a condition of membership, these providers agree to abide by a professional code of ethics. Nonetheless, please be aware that the Granite Mountain Psychological Society is not responsible for the services provided by any of its members. We hope that you will use the information as a starting point for finding the practitioner who best meets your needs.
